Learning environment client supervisors

Project

Learning environment client supervisors

Client

Municipality of Amsterdam

Duration

2023-2024

Product

Basic training, workshops, intention day

Project description

The municipality of Amsterdam is shaping the transition from the old to the new Integration Act. This creates learning questions among implementers: both among the experienced people and among client supervisors who are gradually moving from one group to another. What is an appropriate offer for this dual task? To this end, we are setting up a learning environment with training courses and workshops for the implementers.

Results & insights

The setting up of the learning environment starts with a collective day on the meaning of integration in Amsterdam (meaning day). This will be followed by 4 three-day basic training sessions for everyone who will start with the Integration Act 2021 and a series of workshops for experienced forces.

In the workshops, client supervisors solve case histories themselves. They also design new resources and instructions themselves, in collaboration with policy colleagues. Both the basic training and the workshops are incorporated into the core processes of the Amsterdam municipality.
