Symposium Participation and Work in Integration.

On Monday, November 13, NewBees and Divosa organized the work symposium Participation and Work in Integration for over 200 civic integration professionals in Ede.

Opening spoken word

Our colleague Soraya Shawki opened the symposium with a spoken word poem.

"Room for self-direction, a combination of work, family or other needs? It doesn't matter, we look at your individual situation. We make customization possible. So that we don't see groups, but people."

Workshops

There were several workshops to follow about the different elements of integration, the best approach, guidance of young people, introduction to the labor market, etc. Colleagues Pepijn Tielens and Soraya Shawki, together with Karin van de Oever of the municipality of Utrecht, gave the workshop Monitoren van inburgering.

In it, they told more about the framework of 14 indicators, and how to use them in a municipality to monitor and evaluate how things are going. Using as an example the monitoring and evaluation of civic integration in the municipality of Utrecht.
