Knowledge by, for and about newcomers

Lex Bohlmeijer of De Correspondent in conversation with Renée Frissen on the new Integration Act

"When we ask people who are new: what do you need to really feel at home? Then the answer is: work and connection. Exactly those two things are difficult in the Netherlands."

"A prime time to reflect on the relationship between citizens and government," writes Lex Bohlmeijer. "And to ask the question, does government have a learning capacity?"
