Journalist Marieke Buijs wrote an article in Trouw about the role of key people. She looked at the work of Yordi, Lahhoud and Kiflom. They once came to the Netherlands as newcomers, managed to find their way here and now, as 'key person', help other newcomers on their way. Marieke also spoke with our Patrick van der Hijden about the vulnerable position in which many key persons find themselves:

"Key persons act as debris cleaners of the integration law and voluntarily solve some fundamental problems for newcomers."
