Social Enterprise World Forum 2023

More than 3,000 participants from over 100 countries, many interesting speakers in over 50 sessions, and various events at the Social Enterprise World Forum, which will be held in Amsterdam this year.

The Social Enterprise World Forumis an opportunity for social enterprises and social entrepreneurs to connect with more than 3,000 participants from over 100 countries, ranging from social enterprise leaders to philanthropists, policymakers, and more, while participating in the world's largest conversation on social enterprise.

SEWF23 offers inspiring panels, interactive discussions, masterclasses, and networking opportunities. Participants can attend both in person and online, and there will be fringe events and tours of social enterprises on location.

On Thursday, October 12, Renee Frissen of Open Embassy will Open Embassy a panel discussion on migration. She will talk to Naz Kawan of 2050 Factory (NL), Innocent Tshilombo from Kakuma Ventures (Kenya), and Mozamel Aman from StartSteps and Startupistan (Germany) on the theme: Migration, entrepreneurial solutions for better lives and livelihoods. 

Together, the panel will explore topics such as:

  • The wide variety of social enterprises that support migrants and refugees.
  • Best practices and how to translate them to different countries and situations.
  • Possible solutions (including tech/AI) and the role of social enterprises and the social enterprise movement at various levels.
