Knowledge by, for and about newcomers

Living together in a diverse country

In an increasingly diverse world, it is important to talk about how we live together. How do people in the Netherlands experience diversity in their neighborhoods? What works well, and where are the challenges? Together with Conversation Culture, we are organizing this project on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. We invite people to share their experiences and ideas about living together in a diverse society.

Gathering insights

In this project, we bring people from all corners of the Netherlands together in seven interactive sessions. Through creative and participatory methods, such as storytelling and theater, we collect stories and insights that form the basis for better policy. Themes such as social cohesion, communication, rules for living together, and space for encounters are central to these conversations.

Why participate?

By sharing your experiences and ideas, you help us gain insight into how we can better address social issues. In addition, the citizen consultation offers an opportunity to meet other people, broaden your horizons, and make a real contribution to society. We also offer:

✔ €25 gift card as a thank you
✔ Travel expenses and delicious food during the sessions
✔ Inspiring and creative conversations in a safe, open atmosphere

The citizen consultation is not just about talking; it is about listening, connecting, and working together to build a society in which everyone feels at home. Join in and share your story.

The sessions will take place in various cities, including Amsterdam, Utrecht, Zwolle, and Den Bosch. Would you like to participate? Register quickly, because places are limited! You can register up to one week before the session.
