Project description

Sinds de oorlog in Oekraïne verblijven duizenden Oekraïense jongeren in Nederland. Veel van hen ervaren onzekerheid over hun toekomst, mentale druk en obstakels in onderwijs en participatie. Toch wordt hun eigen perspectief nog weinig structureel meegenomen in beleid en praktijk.

In dit project organiseren OpenEmbassy, UNHCR en het LOOP focusgroepen en expertpools met Oekraïense jongeren in verschillende regio’s van Nederland. Samen onderzoeken we welke uitdagingen zij ervaren, welke behoeften centraal staan en welke oplossingen jongeren zelf aandragen. De inzichten worden verwerkt in een rapport en aanbevelingen voor gemeenten, opvanglocaties en andere betrokken organisaties.
