Knowledge by, for and about newcomers

Knowledge by, for and about newcomers

About Pepijn Tielens

Pepijn works as a consultant, specializing in monitoring and evaluation. At the UAF, Pepijn learned about the practicalities of being a newcomer, both as a mentor and later as a policy advisor. He brings his knowledge of advocacy to OpenEmbassy, along with an enormous drive to change systems based on radical equality. His eagerness to learn means he quickly grasps new concepts. Pepijn never does anything without careful preparation; in preparation for a book club evening, he bought a Scandinavian cookbook to create dishes that would complement the novel.
