Knowledge by, for and about newcomers

Knowledge by, for and about newcomers

About Jolien de Vries

Jolien is an anthropologist. Within Stichting Civic, she gained a lot of knowledge about the policies that newcomers face in the Netherlands. Now, as an action researcher, she focuses on the everyday reality of newcomers and analyzes how the system works. She searches for ways to turn this knowledge into practical solutions. Her ultimate goal: building a society in which everyone can participate equally.
