Over Fatih Aktas

Fatih is senior onderzoeker bij OpenEmbassy en de Hogeschool Utrecht. Zijn expertise ligt op het gebied van migratie, het postmigratieproces en integratie en ondernemerschap van migranten. Hij voltooide zijn bachelor- en masterdiploma aan de Dumlupınar University en promoveerde in 2017 aan de Universiteit van Istanbul, met als specialisatie migratiestudies. Fatih heeft 15 jaar in de Turkse publieke sector gewerkt. Hij spreekt vloeiend Turks, Nederlands, Engels en is spreekvaardig in Arabisch.

Fatih is een gepassioneerd tafeltennisser en instructeur. Hij combineert zijn voor liefde voor de sport met academisch onderzoek. Eén van zijn speerpunten is participatieve en co-creatieve migratiestudies via het medium sport.
